The Top Three Things Your Pinterest Marketing Strategy Needs
We’re going back to basics and making sure you’ve got these three Pinterest marketing tools in your strategy. I often see these overlooked or pinners trying out elaborate strategies to try to get Pinterest to work for them, without covering the simplest ones first.
Here are three Pinterest Marketing tips that will make all the difference to your results:
Focus On SEO and Keywords
Forget about your social media marketing strategies and start treating Pinterest like the search engine it is. Where keywords and SEO is key to getting your content seen and found by your ideal audience, you want to have this as your focus. Followers and monthly views aren’t going to get you website clicks and sales.
Make your ideal focus to target the right keywords for your business so that you rank high in searches and increase your chance of success.
Create Beautiful Pin Designs
Putting a ton of effort into getting your SEO up to scratch isn’t going to make a difference if your pins aren’t enticing. You want to make it easy for users to click to your website, by having an appealing design that captures their attention. If you’re not a designer and find your pin designs lacking, I highly recommend purchasing edible templates that match your brand or hiring it out.
Publish Content Consistently
Not only does this benefit your Google SEO but the Pinterest algorithm loves new content from pinners. New links on your website make all the difference to your strategy! This doesn’t mean you have to be blogging weekly either. You can repurpose your existing content from Instagram or Youtube (or any other source you’re currently creating content for). I like to see a new link weekly on my client’s websites for best results.
Something I feel is important to note is that quality content is obviously preferred here.
